Version 1.0

Release Date: August 2010

In the future, the human race has extended its reach far into the Solar System.

Over the first few hundred years of space travel, two factions rise to take control of inter-planetary trading and exploration.  The Terran Republic and the Jovian Federation control all trade and transportation in the Solar System.  These entities are run from their respective governmental home planets of Earth and Titan.

The First Solar War (2463 – 2464) erupts after the Martian Colonies break away from the Terran Republic, and begin to trade raw materials directly with the Jovians.  Economic and military aid, sent covertly from Titan, help the Martians win their victory over the highly advanced Terran Fleet.   A tenuous peace is reached, but only after devastating loses on both sides.  The cease-fire allows trade routes to open again, and the fledgling Martian Collective is founded.

Seventy-Five years later, tensions between the Terran, Jovian, and Martian planets have led to increased planetary trade barriers and out-right blockades.  Many outer-rim settlements are on the edge of rebellion, with food and resources stretched thin.  As the situation grows worse, a few simple mistakes and inexperienced star ship commanders lead humanity into the Second Solar War...
